Enough is enough!
That's the point I had
to reach before I lost over 105 lbs. in 10 months!
My name is Taylor White. I had been married for 7
years, and my wife had seen me go from 6’3” 250
lbs to a whopping 342 lbs. I had reached size 48 pants, and squeezed
into a 3X shirt. To my 1½ yr. old daughter, I had become the
type of dad who came home, had absolutely no energy to play, and whose
back hurt
so bad all of the time, I couldn’t hold her more than a minute.
That’s when “Enough Is Enough”!!

Along with almost every other overweight American,
I had tried and failed with many diets and work-out programs. The
problem may have been the programs, but mainly it was me. I
never really, and I mean “really”, wanted to take the
effort to lose weight. I thought I did, but when it came
down to crunch
time, my laziness and habits always took precedence. It was
so easy to slip back into my eating routines, because apparently,
I was still comfortable there.
So, when I say “Enough Is Enough”,
I mean I finally got to a point where the decision to lose weight was mine. I
hadn’t been sold anything. I hadn’t seen an infomercial at
3 o’clock in the morning. I hadn’t gotten inspired from
seeing someone else do it. I had just had enough!

I heard about a weight loss place in Tyler called Healthy Figures. I
decided that I needed some help and accountability, so I went to
check it out. I found it really wasn’t a “fad
diet” like
I had expected. It was about consistently living a healthy lifestyle.
The main thing for me was portion control, and healthier choices. Now, I don’t pick up a box of food without looking at the
nutrition panel. I had no idea how unhealthy a lot of food is.
I went from 342 lbs to 235 lbs., from squeezing into a 3X shirt to fitting
into a size Large. I changed from squeezing into size 48 pants to cinching
up my size 36’s. I had to take 3 links out of my watch, so it
wouldn’t
fall off my wrist! It sounds crazy, but my shoes are even too big now! I
can hold
my daughters (we just had our 2nd) all day! And my wife looks at her new
husband, skinnier than she’s ever known him.

You may be inspired by reading this right now. But pay close attention,
and realize that any permanent, life-changing differences in your life
are not going to come from an “inspiration”. They’ve
got to come from within yourself. You have to reach a point where “Enough
Is Enough” before your life will really be changed. Maybe this is
that point. If it is, than hang on tight, and don’t turn back!
